New General Manager appointed for Plantation Island Resort

Alex Wilson was appointed as the new general manager of Plantation Island Resort on the 25th January this year. With experience in hospitality in over 25 years, Mr. Wilson was the best candidate for the spot.
Plantation Island Resort is part of the Raffe Hotels and Resorts in Fiji. It is nestled at the heart of Mamanuca Islands and spreads to over 123 acres of tropical gardens with coconut palms. It also has seven kilometers stretch of white sand covered shore on an azure- shaded lagoon.
Mr. Wilson has worked in several countries before including Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Cook Islands and Australia as a general manager. Last five years, he was the head leader of the iconic Grand Papua Hotel hospitality team located at Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.
The new Plantation Island Resort manager has also led Little Polynesian Resort located in Rarotonga which is an award winner. Other major hospitality sectors in Papua New Guinea where Mr. Wilson is reported to have worked as general manager are Holiday Inn in Port Moresby and Coral Sea Hotels.
Alex Wilson who is a Fijian returned home after spending over 35 years working in foreign countries.
